Top-up fall out
Students' Union Presidents across Wales and a couple of AMs have called for NUS Wales President James Knight to resign following the top-ups fees debate. He's accused, variously, of being less than enthusiastic in the top-up fees motion; encouraging AMs to vote against the anti-top up fees motion; furthering his career within the Labour party; not following NUS Wales policy; losing the confidence of union presidents and politicians; leaving the toilet seat up (I may have made that last one up).
Various rumours are flying around to what the next move is going to be from the unions, NUS, NUS Wales and Knight himself. Could be an interesting week for him.

From what I remember of James Knight from his time at Kairdiff Uni, he was an attention-seeking, egotistical gobsh*te. It comes as no surprise, therefore, to see him swallowing his principles to try and further his career prospects.
I'm no fan of the toothless NUS at the best of times, but when their upper ecehlons are populated by this sort of careerist, unprincipled little tw*t, they really do themselves no favours at all.
I sincerely hope he is pushed out, because there's no way that someone like him will have the guts to walk.
That's fairly exciting. He has behaved quite oddly about it. I hope some sort of resolution is reached because now is not the time to have anything other than a tight camp over top-up fees etc.
