Jenny Willott publicity
A double dose of JW today! First a letter that came through the door, about 6ish. Hand addressed and individual in a little blue envelope. It is an A5 faux-handwritten written letter.
And then a leaflet that was being handed out at Cardiff University Students Union this afternoon. Rough A4 folded in half.
Any comments?

That 'handwritten' letter from JW was so patronizing, "I'm your friend, vote for me". It's easy for her to say how she's fighting for local people, because she hasnt been elected yet, she's free to be very visible here. She digs JOJ for being absent, but that's because he's off doing his job in London most of the time, as she will be too if elected.
Also, what's this Cardiff Herald that came through my door 2 days ago? It looks like a local free paper, but on closer inspection all articles are about the lib dems, and at the back you can pledge your support. Why be so underhand about it, why not just call it the Lib Dem news? I thought it was very naughty of them.
Will she give sort me a lift? I live on Mackintosh Place, it's quite a walk to Albany Road.
The Echo has the Labour Party ahead by 25% to 21% over the Libs with 37% in a poll of 500 people. A bit surprised myself but i suppose that 37% undecided and turnout will be the key factors.
Well, the Lib-Dems have long been making up for their lack of funding and national coverage by heavily targetting areas such as this - once they get a scent of blood, the resources come pouring in from Central Office, and the party round here is well organised and heavily represented in local government.
As for feeling 'appreciated' for receiving relentless party propaganda, well, each to their own. I made up my mind some time ago - Willott is a stultifyingly bland central office type, but as Jones has wholeheartedly committed himself to the disgusting authoritarian agenda of Blunkett/Clarke, it is for her I will be reluctantly casting my vote.
